The KaRs (The Kane & Regan Show) are a children's entertainment group formed in 2004 in the aftermath of the devastating floods in the Manawatū region. The group's goal was to cheer up children and help them cope with the effects of the disaster.

The KaRs quickly gained a following with their unique blend of music, comedy, and performance. In 2004, they received a grant from the PNCC to create a CD of educational songs about manners, respect, hygiene, and mathematics. The CD was a hit and continues to be featured on kids' radio shows across the country.

The KaRs have also released three music videos with the support of NZonAir and PNCC. Their latest album, The KaRs II has now been released into the world. The album features a mix of new and old songs, all of which are sure to entertain and educate children of all ages.

In addition to their music, The KaRs are also involved in several other projects. They have recently recorded the audiobook version of The Legend of Okatia which was published in May 2023 and won the Global Children’s Awards audiobook category.

The KaRs are a talented and dedicated group of performers committed to bringing joy and learning to children of all ages. Their work is sure to continue to entertain and inspire for many years to come.
